There are three halls of fame that are worthy of claiming our attention, in Cooperstown, NY
there is the Major League baseball hall of fame, the Naismith Memorial basketball hall of fame
is in Springfield, Mass and the National Football league hall of fame is in Canton, OH.
The Hall of Fame is a structure building containing plaques of busts honoring famous people that
excelled in their respective sports.
There is another hall that is more important than any of these, and it is called the Hero’s Hall of
Faith. Many of these died without ever receiving all that God had promised them.
There was Abraham, Daniel, Ester, Stephen, Abel, Enoch, Norah, Sara, Hana, and Rahab. Did
you say Rahab the harlot? How can she be there? She believed in God and His power by putting
her life on the line.
It all started back in Jericho when her main occupation was a prostitute. Many travelers came to
Jericho and were entertained by Rahab. Several times she heard the stories of a group of strange
people out in the desert lead by strange so called god that you can’t see. The more she heard the
stories, the more she believed. She hid 2 spies who came to Jericho casing the city to destroy it.
They promised they would save her entire family if she would tie a ribbon in her window when
they came back to destroy Jericho. For her faith’s walk she did and was saved.
